Wineability - Chiusura Vinitaly 2024

The Wineability experience and the considerations of the protagonists of our conference.

The 56th Edition of Vinitaly has concluded

The 56th edition of Vinitaly has just ended, the fair that every year is committed to highlighting wine products, one of the major Italian excellences recognized throughout the world.

Enolitech Pavilion – Wineability Presentation

Inside the Enolitech pavilion we presented Wineability, our application solution that offers a complete system for managing cellar operations and bottle traceability, allowing immediate compliance with regulatory obligations regarding nutritional labeling. Wineability, in fact, allows cellars to simplify and speed up warehouse operations, manage product stock in real time and the traceability of each individual bottle. With its technology integrated with the blockchain, Wineability provides a secure and verified system that makes each individual bottle unique as a guarantee of authenticity, certifying its ownership and transforming this information into useful data for customer loyalty. At the stand, cellars were able to see our tunnel with RFId readers in action and were able to take advantage of a special promotion to obtain the solution for regulatory compliance required by EU Regulation 2021/2117 free of charge.

The presentation conference.

On Tuesday 16 April, the conference “Nutritional label obligation: the Wineability solution complies with the new regulation and opens up the advantages of traceability” was held in the Sala Vivaldi of Veronafiere, aimed at spreading the advantages of adopting Wineability and traceability and to answer the questions of wineries, often wary of new technologies due to their link with tradition. Andrea Aparo Von Flüe, professor of Strategic Management at La Sapienza University of Rome, underlined the importance and the need, even on the part of companies still strongly tied to tradition and reluctant to use latest-generation technologies, to computerize and digitize wine production processes not only for internal efficiency but also and above all for better knowledge and satisfaction of the final market. Giulio Barzanò, head of the Franciacorta winery Il Mosnel, was an exceptional testimonial for Wineability in the control of distribution channels and in the efficiency of logistics processes and a concrete and reliable reference for the wineries present. Mosnel, in fact, has decided to rely on our expertise to overcome the obstacle of gray markets and unauthorized retailers thanks to the serialization of bottles. Carlo Carminati, commercial director of SAIT, underlines the legacy of our third participation in Vinitaly and strengthens our advantage as a first mover in a sector of excellence of the Italian market, anchored to traditions and values that must be preserved, riding the wave of internationalization and strong regulation with the best technologies and skills.

Knowledge, technologies and skills that integrate production processes.

“Wine producers are characterized by an environment strongly tied to tradition, and it could not be otherwise given that it involves working with the products of the earth. We have observed that this is often seen in opposition to the introduction of technologies, but in reality in our experience this is not true: it is a matter of trusting those who, like us, know the technologies and have the skills to integrate them into production processes in order to make them as efficient as possible, in absolute respect of tradition. As Prof. Aparo also underlined, this historical moment – as has already happened in the past – requires companies to have courage, trust and rely on the use of these technologies, so as not to have to chase the necessary integration at a later stage to keep up with the needs dictated by a constantly evolving market.”
