During the bottling and labeling phase, each bottle is assigned a unique, encrypted identification number—an ID encoded in a QR code printed on the back label. This label is generated in compliance with the regulations of the destination market and ensures that each bottle of wine is fully traceable.
For each case, a neck label is printed containing key information about the bottles inside: wine type, production batch, and traceability code, among others. During palletization, the system can then generate unique pallet labels, which refer to the specific bottles and cases stacked on the pallet.
