There are fears of repercussions on consumption, which is already falling, especially for full-bodied and aged wines, which are more calorific, and in general for all non-organic types, which therefore contain additives. The transition, however, is inevitable and can be supported by technological innovation, as was highlighted yesterday at <strong>Vinitaly <\/strong>during the conference presenting the <strong>Wineability <\/strong>solution, devised by the Brescia-based company <strong>Sait S.r.l.<\/strong>. \u2018European regulations make it possible to <strong>dematerialise information by conveying it with Qrcodes<\/strong>. Our solution protects the information given bottle by bottle with Rf\u00ecd technology. But companies are struggling to adapt and are hoping for exemptions,&#8217; says sales director Carlo Carminati. <strong>\u2018The labelling obligation is a great opportunity,\u2019<\/strong> emphasises Andrea Aparo Von Fluee, professor of business strategy at the Sapienza University of Rome, \u2019because <strong>the information that will be compulsorily conveyed tells everything about our wine<\/strong>: who produced it, where how, when it entered the cellar, how long it has aged. <strong>This gives value and transforms wine into an experience<\/strong>, because we can buy it and let it age in the winery, maybe even decide to go and consume it on site for a special occasion&#8217;. At the moment, adds the professor, \u2018if you buy a Bentley on the chassis it says the name of the person who assembled it, but on the bottle there is nothing.
